our first photo together: when you were a short bum, and i only took photos from my good side.
one of my favorite shots by david from our recent maui trip
over the weekend, i had the MOST DELICIOUS chocolate truffles i’ve ever tasted at amanda+michael’s gorgeous wedding (peek-a-boo to come). every bite was like a wave of smooth and velvety mouth-gasm. sorry for the graphic description, but that’s the only worthy way i can think of to describe these gems. the most amazing part is that they were made by the bride’s mom, mary kay, who is the talent behind pink peony chocolates.
i hardly ever make plugs for products on this blog, but these are so good that i feel like i need to share it with my fellow chocoholics! you can buy pink peony chocolate truffles at chocolate box in seattle or email them for direct order. wedding rings not included.
my beloved bride from a couple of years ago and dear friend, elizabeth wiggs wrote a book with her mother, best selling author, susan wiggs. it’s called how i planned your wedding. as you can tell from my writing that i am not much of a reader, but i couldn’t put the book down! it’s hilarious, heart warming and brutally honest. it reminded me of the time when i was planning my own wedding. the excitement, the stress, the tears, the laughter, all of it! i think it’s a great book for any brides, future brides, mothers, boyfriends, fiances, husbands, fathers… everyone can relate! not to mention it has some great tibbits for planning your dream wedding that i wish i had discovered when i was planning my wedding. seriously, go get the book!
on a related news, i shot a few author photos of susan for her books last year. she sent me an image of my photo on the back of her book. it’s huge! i love seeing my photos in print. doesn’t she look so lovely?
here’s one of my fav image from our last wedding of 2010.
goodbye 2010! looking forward to more amazing adventures in 2011!
