fun in the sun with maliya and melissa
Monday, April 28th, 2008i absolutely love shooting kids/family portrait. the images always end up to be an unexpected, yet pleasant surprise. case in point, maliya and melissa’s family portrait.
on the way to santa monica beach, maliya sang a few of the billboard chart toppers for us, such as damaged by danity kane, and britney spear’s gimme more . dave and i were both so tickled and amazed by how a 2 year old was able to memorized the lyrics to these pop songs, that we don’t even know the words too. watch out american idol, maliya’s coming to get you soon!
peek-a-boo! i see you, maliya! ![]()
o my gosh, i love her big, sparkling, brown eyes. i caught a perfect reflection of myself in there.
see you girls soon in september!
teddy & charley
Sunday, March 11th, 2007no, teddy and charley are not characters from a hans christian andersen fairy tale. although they certainly look cute enough to audition for the parts. it was so great when teddy and charley came to the session all pumped up and excited to play. they made my job so much easier. they were so cute and fun that it was hard for me to stop shooting. every shot was golden. don’t you love it when that happens?
one of my favorite shots
there were just too many good shots. visit my updated website http://yvonne-wong.com for more photos.
the schoengarth family
Monday, February 26th, 2007the schoengarth family was such a delight to work with. despite the usual crappy seattle weather, they still brought their super fun spirits to our shoot in kirkland waterfront. our bravery finally paid off, when half way through the shoot, the sun finally came out and awarded us with the much needed break from the rain.
this shoot is to be their family chocolate lab’s final shoot. jake has cancer, and will be leaving the family really soon. despite his pain, he was just as energetic as a dog half his age. i hope this shoot has done him justice, and hopefully will leave the family with a beautiful memory of jake…
9-Jan-2007
Tuesday, January 9th, 2007over the weekend, one of dave’s coworker brought his daughter over for a photoshoot. she is seriously one of the most adorable little girl I’ve ever met. i love her huge green/gray eyes, and at time, she almost looks like a mini rachel mcadams! the way she mumbles gibberish out in that tiny little voice was the funniest part about her. of course, most of the time i just laughed because i have no idea what she’s saying. although my dog, didi, seem to understand her because he kept following her and doing whatever she tells him to
. this photoshoot was a present for her mommy’s birthday. i am putting together a little artbook with the photos i have taken. i hope she will like it as much as i do!
