yet another one-imager…

i know i keep saying i’m going to post a full shoot, yet i keep putting up these 1 image b.s. posts… :( i’m sorry! i feel bad, but time is not my best friend right now. it takes me almost the whole day to do one full shoot entry! i will definitely get something on here soon. hopefully, this is not another empty promise.

Wednesday, July 16th, 2008jensen, renée and nicole’s mom, lianne won a portrait session with me through a school auction a year ago. i was so excited to finally meet them. the kids were full of life and energy during our shoot, which made my job a whole lot easier. after the images were delivered, lianne told me that the grandmother and aunt called her crying as they watched the slide show i made them. i love making people cry… in a good way, of course!

Sunday, July 6th, 2008boy, i’m so behind on blogging…
i shot annie, arthur and aston’s family portrait a couple of months ago for aston’s 6 month’s birthday. even though aston is already 8 months old, i’m still in shock every time i see him. i’ve known annie since high school and she’s the first of all my friends to have a baby. i just can’t believe someone like me have a baby already! then the thought always ends with… damn, i’m getting old. 
aside from my bitterness, isn’t aston just the cutest baby ever? he was very active and fidgety. he’s going to be one athletic boy!
are baby toes really that yummy? can i get a bite?

Monday, April 28th, 2008i absolutely love shooting kids/family portrait. the images always end up to be an unexpected, yet pleasant surprise. case in point, maliya and melissa’s family portrait.
on the way to santa monica beach, maliya sang a few of the billboard chart toppers for us, such as damaged by danity kane, and britney spear’s gimme more . dave and i were both so tickled and amazed by how a 2 year old was able to memorized the lyrics to these pop songs, that we don’t even know the words too. watch out american idol, maliya’s coming to get you soon!

teddy & charley
Sunday, March 11th, 2007no, teddy and charley are not characters from a hans christian andersen fairy tale. although they certainly look cute enough to audition for the parts. it was so great when teddy and charley came to the session all pumped up and excited to play. they made my job so much easier. they were so cute and fun that it was hard for me to stop shooting. every shot was golden. don’t you love it when that happens?
