jesse and i have a special connection. we knew each other since junior high school. we had almost every class together the first year of school. we share the same birthday. unfortunately, we lost contact after high school when he joined the air force. so i was beyond surprised and excited when he and his lovely fiance, kara, contacted me to shoot their engagement portrait. on a cloudy morning, some old friends got together. we had lots of fun and made some sweet and dreamy art. what better way to catch up?

it’s raining in seattle… i know, what else is new?! i love seattle, but the constant rainy winter can really get a girl down. i need a little pick me up, so today’s post is going to be anna+john’s sunny and happy engagement session from the summer. i don’t know why i didn’t post it earlier, but i’m glad i saved it for today.
ok, so anna+john’s adorable yorkie, roscoe, kind of stole the show, but you have to admit that anna+john’s pretty darn cute too! not to mention, we had the talented yeri yun designs styling the shoot. guarenteed good times!

finally a full post! this calls for some champagne!
this shoot was beyond fun and easy. kawai+martin is one of the sweetest couples i’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. of course this comes as no surprise, since they are the brother and sister-in-law of one of my favorite couples, maribeth+michael. kawai+martin flew in from LA to have their photos taken. even though i’ve only met them once before the session, we were hanging out like old friends. time flies when you’re having fun and that morning felt like it was over in a minute. good times~
kawai+martin, i think it’s time for another seattle trip for you guys. 
bring maribeth+michael!
