lisa + kent scheduled their engagement portrait all the way back in november of last year because they loved the uw campus and its ever-so-popular cherry blossoms in the spring. like every other groom, kent warned me about his discomfort in front of the camera, and the “fake smile” that he inherited from his father. however, lisa, with her super fun and charismatic personality, was able to make her man feel so comfortable that it was impossible for me to catch his “fake smile.” instead, it was shot after shot of genuine happiness. i mean just look at some of the images from this shoot!
this one is actually sort of an outtake. lisa was suppose to hop onto kent’s back, but on the way up there, she accidentally kicked kent in a certain sensitive area… 
it’s just too funny for me to not post it.

and here comes the long awaited money shot, the reason for the location: the infamous uw cherry blossoms… of course with the YWP twist
i can’t wait for more of these crazy fun at your wedding comes july!
