i love youtube. besides looking up taiwanese tv shows and music videos that i would otherwise have no access to, it’s also the perfect place to discover some really talented people. i just spent the whole morning today watching marie digby’s videos. beautiful voice, check. stunning look, check. wonderfully talented, check. she IS the whole package. apparently she’s already a big internet phenomenon. it will only be a matter of time before she becomes the next big thing on mtv. talent like this needs a good shout out.

yay! someone else who has heard of marie digby! she definitely IS the whole package. i just hope that when she becomes big (and she will), that she can still retain that sweetness and humility, and that the recording studios won’t mess with her voice and make her records sound so cookie-cutter like everything that’s coming out these days.
her original songs are even better than her covers, IMHO
