susan + todd

engagement | July 16, 2007

when susan (aka miss strawberry from the ever-so-popular weddingbee.com ) asked me to take her engagement portrait, i was shocked and super excited. now i have to admit that i was bit nervous when i first met susan+todd at the seattle public library. i mean, i’ve been reading weddingbee religiously ever since it was still just on xanga, so for me to see miss strawberry in person was almost like meeting my personal celebrity. i know, i’m a dork.

half way into the shoot, susan+todd broke the news to me that this was their very first photoshoot, and that they weren’t very comfortable with cheesy and mushy poses. they were more “silly” people. “silly?’ i paused for a moment. “shoot, let’s do some silly photos then.”

  6. ryc: hahaha hola! it’s not that i don’t want to write. it’s just i have run out of stuff to write about! hahaha you know. oh but hey i actually saw your wedding blog site a WHILE ago and i loved it. i loved your headpiece. there were some aspects of your wedding that looked modern and some that looked so retro classic. i loved it. that’s how i found your site btw!

  8. ooo….awesome pics! so those were all shot at the seattle public library? what a cool place! i love the kissing shot. i ended up at a pretty cool library myself on my last engagement shoot. never would have thought to shoot at one prior to that though.

    also, i love weddingbee too! how cool that you got to shoot miss strawberry’s e-pics! congrats! great work!
