nikki+dave : the hopeless romantics
Friday, June 22nd, 2007nikki told me when she first met dave, she thought he was kind of weird because he was playing the violin at his own housewarming party. who knew a few months later, they would be dating and completely inseparable. dave first proposed to nikki in an elevator, but then proposed again later at snoqualmie falls because he had to do it “right.” yes, girls, on 3. 1, 2, 3, “awwwwwww……..”
the day started with nikki getting beautified at the luxurious gene juarez salon and spa

melisa+jon : a san jose wedding
Sunday, June 10th, 2007my dear friends melisa+jon got married! dave and i flew down to san jose, ca to celebrate this joyous occasion with the happy couple. you may remember this cute couple from one of my engagement sessions . i’ve known jon ever since college, where he saved my butt many times over from my mortal enemy, the evil econ class. and over the years, he has also shared with me some of his turbulent relationship problems. needless to say, he holds a very dear spot in my heart. so i was especially happy to hear that he has finally found the “one” in melisa, and when i met her, i saw that everything about them just made sense.
the wedding was definitely kind of a star (photographers) studded event for me. i was lucky enough to get the chance to watch joey hong in action, one half of the legendary photographer duo, john and joseph photogrpahy , and i even got to shoot with him for a little bit. not to mention the famous gary fong was also there as jon’s uncle. it was overwhelming, but i managed to get a few shots in. 
i don’t normally shoot the guys getting ready part of the day, so it was definitely a refreshing change to hang out with jon and the boys that morning. since i don’t get to do this part very often, i took advantage of the boys and made them pose lots of photos for me! thank god they were such good sports.

the boys had to do all kinds of fun tasks to please the bridesmaids, so jon can get inside the house to his bride. tasks such as the macarena.
