the schoengarth family was such a delight to work with. despite the usual crappy seattle weather, they still brought their super fun spirits to our shoot in kirkland waterfront. our bravery finally paid off, when half way through the shoot, the sun finally came out and awarded us with the much needed break from the rain.
this shoot is to be their family chocolate lab’s final shoot. jake has cancer, and will be leaving the family really soon. despite his pain, he was just as energetic as a dog half his age. i hope this shoot has done him justice, and hopefully will leave the family with a beautiful memory of jake…
